The T Tree Country House in Klein Karoo, South Africa is the perfect base from which to explore the unique attractions of this area. The Country House is situated on the route to the Cango Caves, the Swartberg Pass and the circle route to Prince Albert via Meiringspoort. It is also within easy reach of the Cango Ostrich Farm and Cango Wildlife Ranch. The homestead and outbuildings date back to the 1800's and reflect the typical Klein Karoo architectural style. They have been gracefully restored to their original splendour, and equipped with all modern conveniences. Our dining room reflects our warmth and hospitality, and overlooks the sparkling swimming pool. Visitors can expect exquisite Klein Karoo cuisine including our speciality - a trio of fillet (ostrich/beef/game) - a true celebration of local culinary art.

This Game Lodge is a sprawling game farm in the fertile Cango Valley at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains – South Africa’s 6th World Heritage Site.

Lush Succulent Karoo vegetation and a 5 ha natural waterhole create a haven for a variety of game species including: elephants, rhino and Cape buffalo (3 of the Big Five); giraffe; hippo; Cape Mountain zebra; Eland; Kudu and Springbok. Enthusiastic bird watcher's will enjoy trying to identify the more than 217 bird species to be found in the area, the ostrich of course being the easiest.
